Coren completed a challenging yoga teacher training through Yoga Tree in San Francisco. She recently enjoyed an all women's vacation to Hawaii with her family where they playfully practiced yoga on the beach.  Coren teaches group fitness classes and is a trainer at Vivre Fitness in Palo Alto as well as dedicates herself to a holistic wellness coaching practice.  To learn more about her classes and offerings please visit her website @ http://www.vi-well.com

Meet Luna

Luna is 1 year old.  Her favorite toy is a green feather attached to a long stick.  She carries this stick up and down stairs, and she jumps & twists high in the air to catch her feather :)

She also enjoys annoying her dog, Spirit.  She loves very long naps, preferable 7 hours!  And lastly, she loves to play in sinks and tubs, drinking the water drips and jumping out to scare you when you least expect it.

Review of: Hala Khouri's Yoga dvd

Yoga For Stress Reduction.  This is such a well done yoga dvd. She has a wonderful, soothing voice and a background in somatic counseling. Her dvd is divided into sections you can practice alone or you can do a few sections or the entire practice.

I love the warm-ups section. It’s 17 minutes, and if you are short on time or energy or nursing an injury or mild cold, this is a wonderful way to connect with yourself and get an effective stretch. Her words guide you to feel “resourced” in your breath, your long spine & your connection with the solid ground beneath you.

If you hold muscle tension, feel anxious or ungrounded sometimes… this is a life-changing dvd. Once you learn to find ease in your body, you will feel transformed and stress will melt off of you!

Review of Adriana Tigiani's novel: "Shoemaker's Wife"

I love this author AND this book! I’ve read most of her books and I highly recommend them. She creates memorable characters and combines a mix of the family history with the current story. Most of her books take place both in Italy & the USA, including this one.

I never wanted this book to end. Just a small warning, if you are looking for the purely happy ending, this is an author that captures the reality of life. Maybe it was just my mood, but this time I wanted things to be all wrapped up in a neat bow, and as in life, everything didn’t turn out picture perfect. Still worth the read ~

Her latest novel is out:  "The Supreme Macaroni Company".  It is a fabulous read, too.  Lots of family connection and insight about the big decisions in life.  Plus, its funny :)
